Merry Christmas!

Our little Julia…Where do I start??!!

Well this is Julia’s first Christmas and I can’t believe she’s going to be one next month!! She’s doing so much now and each day we are learning something new about her. She LOVES Mickey Mouse and loves to play Peek a Boo! She crawls like she’s been doing it all her life and talks so much! This week she has learned how to walk with her toy walker and she understands Spanish and English words!! We wanted to share some pictures we have taken in the last few months!! They range from her helping mommy decorate to crawling like she works for Cirque Soleil to bad morning bed head from the night before to playing in a fort Daddy made for her to just being silly!! We also had to take half of our Christmas tree out so that she couldn’t get to it!!

Merry Christmas!!

Happy 1st Halloween as Pebbles Flintstone

This was a big weekend for Jules. Friday her daycare had a Halloween Party and all the babies dressed up.  We thought that Jules would be the perfect Pebbles b/c she has all that wonderful hair. Saturday she had her 9 month check up and everything went great. She got her first flu shot and took it like a pro and didn't even cry. Today she went to her buddy Bryces house and played in their costumes together. They are one week apart and so cute together.  I think Jules thought Bryce was a real dog b/c she kept laughing eveytime he tried to pull off the top of his costume.

Pumpkin Patch Time

We took Jules to her first pumpkin patch yesterday. We went early in the morning so we could miss the storm that was suppose to be coming. Jules is still teething and fighting a cold so she was kind of quiet but I could tell she was enjoying all the people and activities going on. We picked three pumkins one for mommy, daddy and Jules. We had pumpkin spice lattes and just enjoyed some family time.

Getting ready for Halloween!!

So this year Jules is going to be Pebbles Flinstone!! Since I couldn't find any cute baby/infant costumes I decided to make one for her. To my surprise my wonderful husband wanted to help! So his job was the hair piece which is a big bone. So what he did was got some material, made a bone template, cut it out sewed it half way together and stuffed it with cotton balls and sewed it to a barrette to clip into Jules hair. It actually came out quite perfect. My job was the rest which consisted of dying one of Jules onesies and sewing a skirt to the bottom. Rob helped out with that as well sewing half the skirt!! I tell ya Rob is a great daddy!! I don't know too many dads that would help make their daughter a costume!! So the final outcome is below. I will post more pictures next weekend after her first Halloween party at her daycare!!

Jules Weekend

Jules week has been a very long one... On Monday she got the tummy bug and finally started to get back to normal on Wednesday but the following day started to get a cold :( So this weekend she wasn't her usual feisty self and kind of moping around. It was her friend Evolette's 1st birthday this weekend and we made it for only a few hours but Jules was a trooper and played with the all the babies at the party. Last night was a long and hard one. She kept waking up b/c she was sweating and just couldn't get comfortable...I felt so bad for her...

Today she's just been hanging out and playing with her toys. Boy does she have a lot of toys! See below. She doesn't look too happy but remember she not feeling well right now....

Cute Pics of Jules

So I wanted to share a few pics of our darling little girl!!

The first one is the best!! I was driving home from work and Rob called and said that he put Jules in her camo shirt and some warm thermal pants! I was like "Oh Cute" but when I get home she's in her pink camo shirt with pink tights! I was like babe those are her tights not pants!! Those go under her skirts!! I thought it was so cute that daddy tried to dress her!!

The next one is of Jules wearing her uncle Johnny's hat!!

The last one was from yesterday of Jules standing all by herself!! She's growing up so fast!! Look at those legs don't you just want to eat them!!

Jules weekend...

Jules had a pretty productive weekend. Friday she went to her 1st wedding! She looked pretty in her pink dress. Now that she talks A LOT it was hard to have her in the church. Right when everyone got quiet and the bride was going to walk down the aisle Jules had the urge to got GaaaaaGaaaaaa EXTREMELY loud! So daddy had to take her outside the church. She said her first word this weekend! It was Dada!! Yup Daddy got his name first! Been trying to get her to say Mama for the past 2 months but she went with Dada instead! :) I've been trying to get video of her all weekend but she gets camera shy. So the below is the best I could get this weekend! Jules also started to wave Hi and Bye this weekend!! She's growing up so fast!! Still hasn't started crawling yet but she sure loves standing. I don't know if she will go straight to walking and skip the whole crawling thing. I guess we will see...

38 Weeks.....Almost Done!!

Today I'm 38 weeks and I'm ready to meet her! This was my first week off of work and it was nice and weird at the same time. Since Monday I've been feeling sick again and can barely eat anything without feeling like I'm going to vomit!! My friends that have had babies said they got that way right before they went into labor so I hope that's the case with me. Rob and I have been walking a lot hoping to get this little girl out of me!! I've been getting small contractions in my lower back and under my belly but nothing that has made a consistent pattern yet. I feel like a whale and its so hard to do anything without getting exhausted. My mind wants to go, go, go but my body wants something different. I do feel blessed to have this special time with my husband before everything changes!

Jules room is already for her to enjoy! We have been blessed with great friends and family that have given us so much. All her clothes have been washed and hung and we are just waiting for her!

So now its just a waiting game and I will keep everyone posted as soon as she is here!! I'm so nervous and excited. I just want to be the best mommy!! I know Rob will be the best daddy and Jules will have her wrapped around his finger the second they meet!! Stay tune!!
